Problem:
- Distributed applications require real-time communication with guaranteed quality of service
- Manual configuration of TSN-based network is tedious and error prone
- Visualization and verification for TSN-based networks missing so far
Solution approach:
- Extending the Kubernetes orchestration framework to take communication properties and requirements into account when allocating applications
- Mapping and configuration of quality-of-service requirements into a TSN-based network
- Agent-based validation and visualization approach combining and extending existing monitoring frameworks
